- Here are some before and “during” construction pictures of a fabulous kitchen remodel. This was a total gut and re-design kitchen and laundry room project, including new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, tile flooring as well as new tile backsplash, new lighting from visual comfort lighting, new furniture from Lorts and various accessories. Pre-remodel this kitchen had a walk-in pantry with a window and lots of open shelving storage. Now the newly designed kitchen has a much more open floor plan as well as all custom built in cabinets with pull out shelves and soft close doors. The flooring was changed from hardwood flooring to tile flooring which was laid on a diagonal in order to give it some more dynamics. A matching Visual Comfort chandelier was placed above the Lorts dining table. We will post more pictures soon of the finished kitchen remodel with finished custom window treatments and a seat cushion with custom embroidered pillows.
