It is almost time to open the doors for the show house benefiting the Alzheimer’s Tennessee foundation. We are designing the great room and chose beautiful furniture from Taylor King, Our House Design, Surya rug company, Currey and Company, just to name a few. After our initial meeting with the Homeowners a color pallet of off whites, grays, light blues and blush tones was decided on which creates a theme throughout the house.
A beautiful hand crafted sofa from Taylor King and swivel leather chairs with nail heads provide ample seating and the rug adds splashes of color. The theme of the large Currey and Company chandelier with twigs and branches repeats in the drapery fabric design. The linen draperies are non-functional, however add texture and design to the room. The iron base coffee table with custom painted wood top and drawer as well as two column side tables finish the design of the Great Room.
